NY businesses...
If you are a
business owner in the New York metropolitan area, including Nassau
and Suffolk Counties, you can help Women of Substance.
How? Businesses
can help Women of Substance by putting a Women of Substance clothing
bin on your property. That's right - a clothing bin. Nothing for
you to buy, nothing for you to do. If you rent, then you can ask
your landlord if we can put a clothing bin in the corner of the
parking lot, where people will see it and have easy access.
The clothing
bin is 4ft deep by 4ft wide by 5ft high and is covered by a $1 million
insurance policy for security and peace of mind. It will have our
name and state that donations of clothing can help stop abuse.
It will be picked
up on a scheduled basis which is determined during the first few
months. During high volume giving seasons (Thanksgiving, Christmas,
etc.) the frequency of pickups will be increased. A telephone number
will also be provided if the bin unexpectely gets filled in a shorter
period.
