The estimated total number of people living in
the U.S. with an incurable STD is over 65 million. Every year, there are
approximately 15 million new cases of STD's, a few of which are
curable. |
- Pregnant teenage girls
can carry an average 2.3 STD's.
- 80% of pregnant teenage
girls who decide to keep the child will live under the poverty level
for at least the next 10 years.
- Young fathers of these babies
will have to pay between $60,000 and $80,000 in child support
- In 1950 there were 5 known
STD's. Today there are over 30 with an over 30% incurable rate.

- AMA released a bulletin
in 2003 that every teenage girls who is sexually active must be tested
fro Chlamydia every 6 months.
